Kakani village tour is a popular village tour around Kathmandu Valley. An hour Scenic drive north of Kathmandu, the Kakani village is an ideal site to explore and discover Nepalese village culture. There is an interesting forest hike through oak, rhododendron and pine forest to visit a trout fish farm.

Kakani village trek around Kathmandu Valley offers villager's lifestyles and panoramic view of Annapurna ranges, Manaslu mountain ranges, Ganesh Himal ranges , Langtang ranges, Dorje Lakpa, Melung-Tse, Gauri Shankar, Furi Cha-Chui, Everest and many other peaks. Sunset and Sunrise view from Nagarkot hill Tower, Kakani hill Tower, Dhulikhel hill Tower are memorable. It also gives a rich insight into the rural life of the Nepalese people of the Kathmandu valley. We highly recommend this trek for those with limited time in Nepal but want to do a short trek in the mountain. If weather permits, one can see the blossoming of rhododendrons along the ridge of the Shivapuri National Park during the trek.During March and April, one can enjoy colorful hills full of Rhododendrons, and orchids blooming along side of trails, Shivapuri National Park has long been one of the country’s best habitats of wildlife animals.

You will be received by our representatives and be transferred to hotel. Stay Overnight in hotel Kathmandu.

Drive from Kathmandu to Kakani (1982m, 29km) & trek to Aaledanda along the ridge of the Shivapuri National park area.

Trek from Aaledanda to Shivapuri through the forest.

Trek from Shivapuri to Dhap along the ridge between the Himalaya & the Shivapuri watershed.

Trek from Dhap to Nagarkot between through forests and villages.

Drive back to Kathmandu and Half day Kathmandu valley sightseeing tour of three places: Kathmandu: Swayambu Nath Stupa, famous hindu Temple of Pashupatinath and buddhist pilgrims of Bouddhanath Stupa , Overnight at hotel..
