Lumbini Travel: Relive The Journey Of Buddha

One of the most popular destinations, the Lumbini Tour explores historical places and Lord Buddha's birthplace. It is located in southern Nepal and is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. It is one of the most important Buddhist pilgrimage sites in the world. Many worldwide temples have been established to give honor to the Lord Buddha by followers from many countries. They are beautiful works of art with rich architecture. You should also visit the Japanese-built pagoda devoted to global peace.

Lumbini Garden: Lumbini Garden is a must-see attraction for anybody visiting Lumbini. It is revered as a sacred site and is surrounded by temples and monasteries. Some of them were constructed during the medieval period. The renowned monarch Ashoka constructed the Ashoka Pillar in the garden in approximately 250 BC, and it has an inscription concerning Buddha's birth record.

Mayadevi Temple: The Mayadevi Temple is devoted to Lord Buddha's mother, Mayadevi. It has piqued the interest of all tourists and pilgrimage travelers who want to learn more about the facts. It is rich in architectural aspects, which were unearthed in 1895 by a German archaeologist. It is also recognized as an important location in Buddhism.

Pushkarni Pool: Pushkarni Pool sits in front of the Mayadevi shrine. It was the pool where the king and queen bathed in holy water. Lumbini Museum is a living archive of historical items like coins, clothing, and unearthed wooden and brick artifacts. It depicts ancient civilizations and resources that were in use.

The Kapilvastu Excursion takes you to Lord Buddha's birthplace. It is 27 kilometers from Lumbini. His birth story is fascinating. Buddha was born on the way back to Lumbini from her parent's residence. The Lumbini tour package includes all of the tourist excursions in and around Lumbini.

Program ( 10 Days )

Our crew will greet you in the airport arrival terminal with your name-card and transport you to your hotel in a private vehicle. Also, we will host a dinner program featuring traditional Nepalese food in one of the Nepalese restaurants. In the evening, there will be a brief meeting to discuss the trip.

After breakfast, we will begin a guided tour of some of Kathmandu's greatest historical and spiritual sites. Some of these sites are World Heritage Sites, such as the revered Hindu temple of Pashupatinath, the famed 'Monkey Temple' Swayambunath, and the Buddhist shrine of Bouddhanath, which is one of the world's biggest Stupas. Along with it, you will see the medieval palaces of Kathmandu, Bhaktapur, and Lalitpur, which are rich in stone and wood sculptures that honor old Nepal's rich artistic legacy.

After breakfast, we will either drive or fly to Pokhara. Driving takes roughly 6 to 7 hours, and flying takes about 45 minutes. The rest of your time will be spent seeing Phewa Lake and boating around there. (Best location for a family excursion). Overnight at Hotel (Breakfast Included).

Today we will go to Sarangkot, a popular viewing spot for the Himalayas. You will travel to Sarangkot early in the morning to see the spectacular Annapurna range, Machhapuchhre, Himchuli, Manaslu, and many more. You will return to the hotel for breakfast after spending a couple of hours in Sarangkot. After some relaxation, you'll go sightseeing in Pokhara. Phewa Lake, Begnas Lake, Mahendra Cave, Seti River Gorge, Barahi Temple, Mountain Museum, World Peace Pagoda, and other prominent destinations will be visited. Overnight at Hotel.

After breakfast, we will drive from Pokhara to Chitwan. It takes about five to six hours. The resort will welcome us with welcome beverages, you will visit and wander through Tharu village, an ethnic tribe unique to the Terai area. Also included in the village tour is a sunset view of the Rapti River and transportation to the resort.

Today you will learn why the National Park plays such a vital role in conserving the wild life that is quickly becoming extinct on this world. In their native environment, you're almost certain to see one-horned rhinos, egrets, woodpeckers, and deer. The park also has rhinoceros, tigers, leopards, sloth bears, wild bison, genetic dolphin, 500 birds, butterflies, and the nearly extinct Gharials crocodiles, as well as 543 species of birds, including the critically endangered Bengal florican, the vulnerable lesser adjutant, Grey-crowned Prinia, and others.

The main highlight of our trip is the drive and arrival to Lumbini. Following Chitwan, we will go to Lumbini, the birthplace of Lord Buddha. It's a long drive that can take up to 3/4 hour.

After breakfast, you will tour Japanese temples, Chinese temples, ASOKA PILLER, Vietnam Temple Buddha birth location, Maya Devi Garden, and many more Buddha stupas in Lumbini.

After breakfast, we will drive to Kathmandu, which will take around 7/8 hours, or you will have the option of taking a 30 minute flight. In the evening, unwind by shopping for souvenirs.
