  • Sikkim and Darjeeling

Tour Darjeeling and Sikkim around Mt. Kangchendzonga (8586m/28,162 ft), the world's third highest mountain. Sikkim and Darjeeling provide a great environment for the Himalaya Mountains due to its mild climate, magnificent slopes, pine woods, and valleys with large stretches of green tea plantations.

Sikkim is a Buddhist-dominated region. Sikkim highlights the culture and significance of the Sikkimese form of Buddhism, with its many Buddhist temples, monasteries, and learning institutions.

Sikkim, a Tibetan Buddhist stronghold, is home to approximately two hundred monasteries, the majority of which are inhabited by Lepchas, Nepalese, Tibetans, Indians, and Bhutanese. Foreigners were just recently allowed to enter the region. Darjeeling, chosen by the British Raj as their hill resort due to its warm climate and natural beauty, remains a famous hill station among both Indian and foreign visitors.
