We prepare to trek to Tiger's Nest monastery early in the morning. We planned a lovely trip up to Taktsang monastery, also known as Tiger's Nest monastery, after breakfast at the hotel. We spend around two to three hours trekking uphill to visit a stunning Buddhist monastery that clings to a rock. In addition to being beautiful, the monastery has a striking position.

According to legend, Guru Rinpoche came to meditate in a cave after riding a tiger there. The monastery is located where Guru Rinpoche used to meditate. The Paro valley is spectacularly viewed during the hike up to the monastery. We visit the monastery, after which we travel to Paro for lunch. If time restrictions prevented us from visiting Kichu Lhakhang and Ta Dzong before, we could do so now.

We also have an optional drive to Chele la pass, the highest motor-driven pass (3700 Meters). Later in the evening, we can shop in Paro town. Overnight in Paro.

After breakfast, our representative will transfer you to Paro airport three hours before your departure.
